TackleAI Launches Milo, the #1 Frontier AI for Medical Records, Outranking OpenAI, Anthropic, and Zhipu Models

TackleAI leads the field on the Synthetic Hospital v1.3 benchmark. After years of use inside TackleAI and at top healthcare organizations and law firms, Milo is now open to everyone.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 5, 2026 — TackleAI today announced that Milo, its frontier AI for medical records, is open to every organization. On the Synthetic Hospital v1.3 benchmark, Milo ranks first among all tested frontier models, ahead of OpenAI's GPT-6.1 Sol and GPT-6 Astra, Anthropic's Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1, and Zhipu's GLM 5.3 Flash.

TackleAI did it with a fraction of the capital the largest AI labs work with. The difference is focus. Milo has learned from medical records since 2017, which is why it ranks above general-purpose models built to know a little about everything.

Milo - the #1 Frontier AI in Medical Records

Milo has powered TackleAI's platform and top healthcare organizations and law firms for years. Starting today, any organization can request access.

The numbers

Synthetic Hospital v1.3 (Park, Chen, Dettmers 2026) is a public benchmark of fully synthetic patient charts, with no protected health information. It tests the work records analysts and claims reviewers do every day: rebuilding a diagnosis list, finding the evidence behind it, summarizing the patient, and stating the clinical question behind an imaging order.

Results as of October 2, 2026 (Milo v1.1.0):

  • Milo ranks first of six frontier models on the composite across all four tasks, 64.0 versus 62.9 for the next model.
  • Milo ranks first in patient diagnosis extraction, with a weighted F1 of 0.687, 6.7% higher than GPT-6 Astra and 22.5% higher than Fable 5.1.
  • Milo ranks first in clinical summarization.

Why it matters

A diagnosis buried on page 300 of a chart becomes a denied claim, a failed appeal, or an exhibit without its evidence. General-purpose AI reads documents. Milo learned medical records, and every finding links back to its source page, so a revenue-cycle team can defend an appeal and a litigator can defend an exhibit.

"We just outranked the largest AI labs in the world at the thing that matters most in healthcare: reading medical records correctly," said Sergio Suarez, Jr., Founder and CEO of TackleAI. "Their models know a little about everything. Ours has processed medical records since 2017. The scorecard shows which approach wins. We have used Milo ourselves and with top healthcare organizations and law firms for years. Today we are opening it to everyone, because if accuracy is non-negotiable, there is one model at the top of the field, and it is ours. We published the whole scorecard so you can see for yourself."

Availability

Milo is delivered through the TackleAI platform, with deployment options that keep sensitive documents inside its secure infrastructure. The full Synthetic Hospital Scorecard is at tackle.ai/scorecards. To request access to Milo, visit tackle.ai/try-milo.
